Responsibilities
- Supervise 15+ warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Optimize inventory management systems to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Implement lean principles to improve workflow and reduce operational costs
- Enforce OSHA safety protocols and maintain accident-free workplace
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock scheduling
- Generate and analyze KPI reports for operational efficiency
- Manage equipment maintenance and safety inspections
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse management experience in distribution/logistics
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Forklift certification and heavy machinery expertise
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Operations preferred
- Experience with unionized teams a plus
