Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate 15+ warehouse staff across receiving, picking, packing, and shipping departments
- Implement OSHA compliance protocols and maintain workplace safety standards
- Optimize inventory control systems to achieve 99.5% accuracy rates
- Conduct daily performance reviews and provide targeted coaching for team development
- Streamline warehouse layouts and workflows to maximize space utilization
- Collaborate with logistics team on transportation scheduling and carrier partnerships
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse management experience with 2+ years in supervisory roles
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operator certification required
- Proficiency in WMS systems (Oracle/JDA preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI tracking and process optimization
- Excellent conflict resolution and team leadership abilities
- Forklift and pallet jack operation expertise
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in temperature-controlled environments
