Responsibilities
- Supervise 15+ warehouse associates across receiving, inventory, and shipping departments
- Implement lean principles to optimize workflow and reduce operational costs
- Ensure OSHA compliance through daily safety audits and training programs
- Manage inventory accuracy using WMS systems (SAP experience preferred)
- Coordinate with transportation teams for on-time dock scheduling
- Lead performance improvement initiatives and KPI tracking
- Handle staffing schedules, disciplinary actions, and performance reviews
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse supervision experience in distribution environment
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in process improvement
- Excellent leadership abilities with conflict resolution expertise
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
