Responsibilities
- Supervise 15+ warehouse staff, ensuring optimal performance through scheduling, training, and performance management
- Implement efficient inventory control systems to maintain 99.5% accuracy and minimize stock discrepancies
- Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics, including truck loading/unloading and dock scheduling
- Enforce OSHA safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work environment
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to reduce processing time by 20%
- Generate daily/weekly performance reports for operational KPIs
- Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to align warehouse activities with business needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in fast-paced logistics environments
- Forklift certification and proven equipment management expertise
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite
- OSHA 30-Hour certification or equivalent safety credentials
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret operational data
- Excellent leadership abilities with conflict resolution expertise
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperature conditions
