Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track inbound/outbound shipments using TMS and ERP systems
- Prepare and process shipping documentation (BOLs, invoices, customs forms)
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate carrier rates for cost efficiency
- Resolve shipment delays and maintain real-time communication with stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and international shipping regulations
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and procurement teams for integrated operations
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives in shipping workflows
- Generate performance reports and KPI dashboards for leadership review
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in freight coordination or supply chain management
- Proficiency in TMS platforms (e.g., Descartes, MercuryGate) and MS Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of LTL/FTL shipping regulations and incoterms
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to multitask under pressure
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management preferred (CSCP, CLTD)
- Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy
- Proven track record in cost reduction and process optimization
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak shipping seasons
