Responsibilities
- Supervise 15+ team members in receiving, picking, packing, and shipping operations
- Implement lean principles to improve warehouse efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts and WMS system oversight
- Train and develop staff on equipment operation and best practices
- Coordinate with transportation team to meet delivery deadlines
- Generate performance reports and recommend operational improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse supervision experience in distribution/3PL environments
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficient in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making
- Valid forklift certification and equipment operation experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Experience with union labor management (highly desirable)
