Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 warehouse staff, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity
- Implement safety protocols to maintain OSHA compliance and zero-accident records
- Manage inventory control systems, including cycle counts and reconciliation
- Coordinate with logistics teams for seamless dock scheduling and freight handling
- Train and mentor staff on equipment operation and warehouse procedures
- Optimize space utilization and implement lean warehousing principles
- Resolve operational challenges and escalate critical issues to management
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in distribution/logistics
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Forklift certification and equipment operation skills
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- High school diploma; degree preferred
