Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse associates to ensure high productivity and safety standards.
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance to maintain a secure working environment.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and manage stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Collaborate with logistics coordinators to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any operational discrepancies.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to staff members.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or relevant certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of warehouse experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills (Excel, ERP).
- Valid forklift certification and material handling equipment operation skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of maintaining safety records and meeting productivity targets.
