Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring accurate handling of all cargo.
- Picking and Packing: Fulfill customer orders by picking items from the warehouse floor and accurately packing them for shipment.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, assist in cycle counts, and maintain accurate stock records.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on warehouse equipment and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Order Fulfillment: Sort and organize incoming and outgoing goods to ensure proper routing and timely delivery.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; we train willing candidates.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the night shift.
- Equipment Knowledge: Basic understanding of warehouse machinery (forklifts, pallet jacks) is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy regarding inventory counts and order fulfillment.
- Availability: Must be available to work overnight shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a consistent basis.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
