Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure maximum efficiency, accuracy, and safety standards.
- Manage and train a team of warehouse staff, providing mentorship and performance feedback.
- Monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock movements, and ensure accurate record-keeping using WMS systems.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits to maintain a OSHA-compliant environment.
- Collaborate with management to optimize workflows and improve overall productivity.
- Handle personnel issues, schedule shifts, and resolve operational challenges in real-time.
- Prepare and review shipping and receiving reports to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations and leadership roles.
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) or ability to obtain certification.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (SAP, Manhattan, Oracle, etc.).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
