Responsibilities
- Supervise 15+ warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management
- Optimize inventory control procedures and implement lean warehousing practices
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain a safe, organized work environment
- Coordinate shipping/receiving activities and maintain accurate documentation
- Manage workflow efficiency to meet daily production targets
- Collaborate with logistics team on continuous improvement initiatives
- Utilize WMS software for real-time inventory tracking and reporting
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse supervisory experience in high-volume operations
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Proficiency in inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong leadership skills with conflict resolution expertise
- Ability to work flexible shifts (days, evenings, weekends)
- Proven track record in safety compliance and accident reduction
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Physical ability to traverse warehouse floor and lift 50 lbs
