Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead and develop team of 15+ warehouse associates through coaching and performance management
- Implement lean practices to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance safety protocols
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock scheduling and freight movement
- Conduct regular safety audits and ensure OSHA compliance across all operations
- Utilize WMS systems to maintain accurate inventory records and resolve discrepancies
- Collaborate with purchasing and sales departments to forecast operational needs
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in high-volume distribution environments
- Proven track record in team leadership and staff development
- OSHA certification and deep knowledge of safety regulations
- Advanced proficiency in warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills for process optimization and KPI tracking
- Forklift certification and equipment operation expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends as needed
