Responsibilities
- Supervise 5-8 team members during shift operations, including task delegation and performance monitoring
- Coordinate receiving, put-away, and inventory management processes to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Enforce OSHA safety protocols and conduct daily equipment inspections
- Optimize workflow efficiency through lean principles and process improvements
- Resolve operational issues promptly and escalate complex challenges to management
- Train staff on equipment operation and warehouse procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation of inventory transactions and shift reports
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse experience with 1+ years in supervisory role
- Forklift certification and OSHA 10-hour training preferred
- Proficient in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Valid Maryland driver's license required
- Experience with OSHA compliance and safety audits
- Strong leadership abilities with conflict resolution skills
