Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Manage and mentor 10-15 warehouse staff through performance coaching and training
- Implement and maintain OSHA safety protocols and 5S methodologies
- Optimize inventory accuracy through cycle counts and system reconciliations
- Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely delivery schedules
- Utilize WMS systems to track inventory and generate operational reports
- Continuously improve efficiency through lean process initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in distribution/logistics
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operation expertise
- Proficiency with WMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and inventory software
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development record
- Ability to analyze operational metrics and implement corrective actions
- Forklift certification and basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
- High school diploma; associate degree or supply chain certification preferred
