Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Manage and mentor a team of 15+ warehouse associates to ensure productivity and safety standards
- Implement and optimize inventory control systems using WMS technology
- Conduct regular safety audits and enforce OSHA compliance protocols
- Coordinate with transportation teams to ensure timely deliveries
- Generate performance reports and recommend operational improvements
- Handle equipment maintenance scheduling and forklift operator training
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse supervisory experience in a distribution center
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety credentials
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Strong leadership skills with proven team management success
- Forklift certification and material handling expertise
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
- High school diploma; Associate's degree in logistics preferred
