Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Train and lead a team of warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and performance standards
- Optimize equipment utilization (forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners) provided by the company
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock scheduling and shipment tracking
- Conduct regular safety audits and maintain OSHA compliance documentation
- Generate performance reports and KPI dashboards for operational visibility
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with proven leadership in logistics/supply chain
- OSHA certification and advanced knowledge of warehouse safety regulations
- Expertise in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan) and inventory control methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to optimize equipment workflows
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience preferred
- Forklift certification (training available if needed)
- Experience with automated warehouse technologies (RFID, AS/RS)
