Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping
- Manage and mentor a team of 15-20 warehouse associates with performance reviews and training
- Implement Lean methodologies and OSHA safety protocols to ensure compliance
- Optimize inventory control systems and maintain accurate stock records
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics with transportation and procurement teams
- Analyze operational metrics to identify efficiency improvements
- Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and safety inspections
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in warehouse management with 2+ years in supervisor role
- OSHA 30-hour certification and Forklift Operator certification
- Advanced proficiency in WMS (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and inventory management systems
- Proven track record in team leadership and performance optimization
- Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI reporting
- Forklift operation experience and equipment maintenance knowledge
