Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of 15+ warehouse staff through performance coaching and scheduling
- Implement and enforce OSHA safety protocols to maintain zero-accident workplace standards
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to maximize space utilization and reduce operational costs
- Conduct regular inventory audits and implement cycle count procedures for 99.5%+ accuracy
- Collaborate with logistics team to ensure seamless transportation coordination and on-time delivery
- Generate performance reports and KPI dashboards for continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years warehouse management experience with 2+ years in supervisory role
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operator certification required
- Proven track record in inventory control systems (WMS experience preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and implement process improvements
- Excellent leadership abilities with experience in cross-functional team collaboration
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management software
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends during peak seasons
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
