Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of 15+ warehouse associates to ensure peak productivity and safety compliance
- Optimize inventory control systems, including cycle counts and reconciliation processes
- Implement lean methodologies to reduce waste and improve operational efficiency
- Coordinate cross-functional activities with transportation, purchasing, and quality assurance teams
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols
- Develop and maintain accurate warehouse documentation, including SOPs and training materials
- Analyze performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or equivalent field (5+ years experience accepted in lieu of degree)
- Minimum 5 years warehouse management experience with 2+ years in supervisory roles
- Advanced proficiency in WMS platforms (e.g., Manhattan, Oracle) and inventory software
- OSHA 30 certification and strong knowledge of safety regulations
- Proven track record of reducing operational costs by 15%+ through process optimization
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience in performance management and conflict resolution
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying warehouse conditions (heat, noise, height)
