Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping activities
- Manage and develop a team of 10-15 warehouse associates through coaching and performance feedback
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain OSHA compliance and zero-accident standards
- Optimize inventory accuracy through cycle counts and process improvements
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for seamless logistics execution
- Analyze KPIs to drive operational efficiency and cost reduction
- Maintain equipment and facility readiness through preventive maintenance programs
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse/supervisory experience in distribution or logistics
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS software (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan, or SAP)
- Forklift certification and equipment operation experience
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
