Responsibilities
- Supervise 15+ warehouse staff, assigning daily tasks and ensuring productivity targets are met
- Implement and maintain OSHA safety protocols to achieve zero-accident goals
- Manage inventory control systems, including cycle counts and stock reconciliation
- Coordinate shipping/receiving operations to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Train and develop team members on equipment operation and safety procedures
- Analyze operational data to identify efficiency improvements and cost-saving opportunities
- Collaborate with transportation teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or distribution
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and inventory management software
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to resolve operational bottlenecks
- Excellent leadership abilities with proven team development track record
- Forklift certification and experience with warehouse equipment (jacks, pallets, etc.)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends as needed
