Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 warehouse staff daily, assigning tasks and ensuring productivity targets
- Implement safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards across all operations
- Manage inventory systems including cycle counts and WMS data accuracy
- Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics with carriers and distribution centers
- Train new hires on equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks) and procedures
- Resolve operational issues and optimize workflow efficiency
- Prepare performance reports and recommend process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in cold chain or logistics
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training
- Proficiency with WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Valid Alaska driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in sub-zero temperatures
- Experience with union labor management preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field a plus
