Responsibilities
- Supervise 15+ warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Optimize inventory management systems to minimize errors and maximize throughput
- Enforce OSHA safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work environment
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock scheduling and load planning
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs
- Conduct daily audits of inventory, equipment, and facility conditions
- Manage warehouse technology systems (WMS, RF scanners) and reporting tools
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in fast-paced distribution environments
- Forklift certification and OSHA 10/30 training preferred
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in inventory control and KPI tracking
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in logistics a plus
