Responsibilities
- Supervise 15+ warehouse staff, scheduling and assigning daily tasks to ensure operational efficiency
- Implement and maintain OSHA compliance protocols, conducting regular safety audits
- Optimize inventory control systems, including cycle counts and WMS operations
- Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics, ensuring timely dock scheduling and trailer allocation
- Analyze performance metrics to reduce processing times and improve KPIs
- Train staff on equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks) and material handling best practices
- Resolve operational conflicts and escalate critical issues to senior leadership
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with team leadership responsibilities
- OSHA 30-Hour certification and Forklift Operator certification required
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan) and inventory management software
- Strong analytical skills with experience in process improvement methodologies
- Excellent communication abilities for cross-functional coordination
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying temperature environments
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
