Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and shipping activities
- Manage 10+ staff members through scheduling, training, and performance reviews
- Implement lean practices to maximize space utilization and reduce operational costs
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate stock records
- Coordinate with transportation teams to ensure on-time deliveries
- Resolve operational issues promptly to maintain workflow continuity
- Generate performance reports and recommend process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse management experience in fast-paced environments
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and inventory software
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development track record
- Knowledge of lean methodologies and Six Sigma principles preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Forklift certification required
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
