Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring that all inbound, outbound, and stockroom activities are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Manage and mentor a team of warehouse staff, providing training, scheduling, and performance feedback to drive productivity and morale.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure stock availability and minimize shrinkage.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards to create a secure working environment for all employees.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow procedures to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure accuracy in shipping and receiving documentation.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement process improvements and strategic goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) and knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods as required by the role.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
