Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
- Implement lean principles to optimize space utilization and reduce operational costs
- Train, motivate, and evaluate warehouse staff performance
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain safety standards across all processes
- Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts and WMS system oversight
- Collaborate with transportation teams to ensure on-time delivery
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years warehouse management experience with 2+ years in supervisory role
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- OSHA 30 certification and Forklift operator certification
- Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI monitoring
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments
- Advanced problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
