Job Summary
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the daily supervision of warehouse staff, inventory control, and ensuring a safe, efficient working environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities to ensure maximum efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and implement inventory control procedures.
- Enforce strict safety policies and OSHA compliance to prevent accidents.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse associates to maintain high performance standards.
- Maintain equipment and machinery, coordinating repairs as needed.
- Prepare and analyze operational reports to optimize workflows.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse management or a related field.
- Valid Forklift certification and ability to operate material handling equipment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in inventory management software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
