Responsibilities
- Supervise 15+ warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management
- Optimize inventory control processes using WMS systems to achieve 99.5% accuracy
- Implement and enforce OSHA safety protocols with zero-accident goals
- Coordinate receiving, storage, and shipping operations across 3 distribution zones
- Analyze KPIs (order fulfillment rate, labor efficiency) and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with logistics team on carrier relationships and freight optimization
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules for forklifts and material handling systems
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in distribution/logistics
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour safety training
- Expertise in WMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in high-volume environments
- Data-driven decision-making with inventory management metrics
- Strong problem-solving skills for operational challenges
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement
