Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee all daily warehouse activities, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping, ensuring throughput targets are met.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety and productivity.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and implement strategies to reduce shrinkage and improve accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Process Optimization: Analyze workflows and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or a supervisory capacity within the logistics industry.
- Certifications: Valid forklift certification and ability to operate powered industrial equipment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and inventory software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Leadership: Strong background in leading teams, conducting performance reviews, and resolving conflicts.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business preferred.
