Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead and mentor a team of 15-20 warehouse associates through performance coaching and development
- Implement safety protocols and ensure OSHA compliance across all warehouse activities
- Optimize inventory control systems and implement process improvements for efficiency
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock scheduling and load planning
- Conduct regular audits and reporting on KPIs including accuracy, productivity, and safety metrics
- Manage equipment maintenance and forklift fleet operations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse management experience in a fast-paced distribution environment
- Proven track record of leading teams and driving operational improvements
- OSHA certification and strong knowledge of safety regulations
- Advanced proficiency in WMS systems and inventory management software
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Forklift certification and experience with warehouse equipment
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
