Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping processes
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse associates through performance coaching and training
- Implement and enforce OSHA compliance protocols, safety procedures, and operational best practices
- Optimize warehouse layouts, workflows, and inventory control systems to maximize efficiency
- Utilize WMS software to track inventory, resolve discrepancies, and generate performance reports
- Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and transportation teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations
- Conduct regular audits and process improvements to reduce costs and enhance productivity
Qualifications
- 5+ years of warehouse management experience with proven team leadership success
- OSHA certification and deep knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards
- Expertise in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and drive process improvements
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities for cross-functional collaboration
- Forklift certification and familiarity with material handling equipment
- Proven track record of meeting operational KPIs (accuracy, throughput, safety metrics)
