Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping operations
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain OSHA compliance and accident-free workplace
- Train, mentor, and evaluate performance of warehouse staff while fostering a positive team culture
- Optimize inventory control systems, conduct cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies
- Collaborate with logistics team to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction
- Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and operational budgets
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse supervisory experience in distribution or manufacturing
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety management training
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and MS Office Suite
- Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate diverse teams
- Forklift certification and knowledge of material handling equipment
- Problem-solving abilities with data-driven decision-making approach
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
