Responsibilities
- Supervise 15+ warehouse staff, scheduling shifts and providing daily guidance to ensure operational targets are met
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, conducting regular audits to maintain OSHA compliance
- Optimize inventory management systems, including cycle counts and WMS data accuracy
- Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics, ensuring timely dock scheduling and load verification
- Analyze KPIs to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements
- Train and develop team members on equipment operation and warehouse procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align inventory and distribution strategies
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in fast-paced distribution environments
- OSHA certification and strong knowledge of safety regulations
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and inventory management software
- Proven leadership skills with ability to motivate and develop diverse teams
- Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret operational data
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing priorities
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
