Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and order fulfillment
- Manage team of 10-15 warehouse staff with flexible scheduling options
- Implement safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Optimize inventory management systems and reduce operational costs
- Train and develop staff through performance coaching programs
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics with transportation and purchasing teams
- Generate performance reports and implement process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse supervision experience in distribution/logistics
- Proven ability to manage flexible work schedules and diverse teams
- Forklift certification and OSHA safety training credentials
- Advanced proficiency in WMS software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and inventory systems
- Strong problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred
- Experience with lean methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives
