Responsibilities
- Supervise 15+ warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management
- Implement and enforce OSHA safety protocols to maintain zero-accident standards
- Optimize inventory management systems to achieve 99.5% accuracy rates
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics operations with transportation and procurement teams
- Conduct regular cycle counts and lead month-end inventory reconciliations
- Streamline workflow processes to maximize space utilization and throughput
- Utilize WMS software (e.g., Oracle, SAP) for real-time inventory tracking
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in fast-paced logistics environments
- OSHA 30-Hour certification and Forklift Operator certification required
- Proficiency in WMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI reporting and process optimization
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams in union/non-union settings
- Experience with automated warehouse equipment (AS/RS, conveyors)
