Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse associates, ensuring high morale and productivity.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with management to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and disciplinary actions as necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics operations.
- Proven track record of leading teams and managing conflict effectively.
- Forklift certification and ability to operate warehouse equipment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, or Warehouse Management Systems).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred.
