Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, shipping, and inventory management.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and train warehouse staff to ensure high performance and safety standards.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and ensure accuracy of inventory records using WMS.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in workflows and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with transportation teams to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Leadership: Strong proven track record of leading teams and driving productivity.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical Ability: Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
