Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily inbound, outbound, and storage operations to meet production targets.
- Supervise, train, mentor, and schedule warehouse staff to ensure high productivity and morale.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock.
- Ensure strict compliance with all OSHA safety regulations and company security policies.
- Coordinate with logistics managers to resolve supply chain issues and optimize workflows.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and manage maintenance schedules for forklifts and shelving.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Valid Forklift Certification and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) certification.
- Strong knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and inventory control principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
