Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Optimize inventory control systems and implement efficient receiving/shipping processes
- Maintain OSHA compliance and enforce safety protocols across all operations
- Coordinate with logistics teams for seamless supply chain integration
- Utilize WMS software to track inventory and generate operational reports
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiency
- Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and safety inspections
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or distribution
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions
- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
- Flexible scheduling availability including some nights/weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
