Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead and mentor a team of 15+ warehouse associates, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency
- Implement lean practices to optimize space utilization and reduce processing times
- Conduct regular safety audits and ensure OSHA compliance across all activities
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics with transportation and distribution teams
- Utilize WMS systems to maintain accurate inventory records and reporting
- Develop flexible shift schedules to meet business needs while accommodating team preferences
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience with proven team leadership
- Forklift certification and advanced inventory management skills
- Strong proficiency in WMS software (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety credentials
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities in fast-paced environments
- Experience implementing lean manufacturing principles
- Excellent communication skills with ability to train diverse teams
