Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping activities.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates to ensure high productivity, accuracy, and employee morale.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the inventory team to ensure accurate stock accuracy.
- Develop and implement efficient workflow processes to optimize operational costs and reduce waste.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to staff.
- Handle customer inquiries regarding order status and resolve logistical issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or related fields.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and direct a diverse team.
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification and willingness to obtain additional certifications.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Logistics preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
