Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Manage and mentor a team of 10-15 warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety and productivity
- Implement and maintain inventory control systems to ensure 99.5% accuracy
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock scheduling and freight movement
- Enforce OSHA and company safety protocols through regular inspections and training
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to maximize space utilization and efficiency
- Generate performance reports and KPI tracking for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse supervisory experience in cold-chain logistics preferred
- Forklift certification and heavy machinery operation skills
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan) and inventory management software
- Strong leadership abilities with proven team development track record
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in logistics preferred
