Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Team Management: Manage, mentor, and schedule a team of warehouse associates, conducting performance reviews and providing ongoing training.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and manage stock discrepancies to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in workflows and implement solutions to optimize productivity and reduce costs.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure proper care and maintenance of warehouse equipment and vehicles.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or a related field.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading teams and driving performance results.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in varying temperature conditions.
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required).
