Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Supervise and mentor a team of warehouse associates, conducting performance reviews and providing ongoing training.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and implement strategies to reduce shrinkage and errors.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free working environment.
- Coordinate with logistics managers to schedule shipments, track inbound/outbound deliveries, and resolve supply chain discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse layout and ensure all equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) is properly maintained.
- Manage overtime schedules and labor costs to ensure productivity goals are met within budget.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience in warehouse management or logistics supervision.
- Valid Forklift Operator certification and willingness to obtain additional certifications as needed.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams.
- Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet business demands.
