Responsibilities
- Manage Daily Operations: Oversee the daily workflow of the warehouse, ensuring orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time.
- Lead and Mentor: Supervise a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, conducting training, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Ensure Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and OSHA guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a secure facility.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and manage stock transfers to prevent discrepancies.
- Process Optimization: Identify operational inefficiencies and implement best practices to improve productivity and reduce waste.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming shipments and finished goods to ensure they meet company quality standards.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We focus on potential and attitude; prior supervisory experience is not mandatory.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods in a warehouse setting.
- Computer Literacy: Basic proficiency with computers and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate clearly with team members and management.
- Problem Solving: Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve operational issues efficiently.
