Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and order fulfillment.
- Manage and mentor a team of warehouse staff, conducting performance reviews, scheduling shifts, and providing ongoing training.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Monitor inventory accuracy using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and implement strategies to reduce waste and optimize storage.
- Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely shipment and delivery of goods.
- Maintain equipment and machinery, ensuring all forklifts, pallet jacks, and tools are in safe working condition.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve operational issues efficiently.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or a related field.
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification and willingness to operate other material handling equipment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, direct, and discipline a diverse workforce effectively.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management software (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime as required by business needs.
