Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor 10-15 warehouse team members while maintaining productivity and safety standards
- Oversee receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping operations
- Implement lean principles to optimize warehouse layout and workflow efficiency
- Conduct regular safety audits and ensure OSHA compliance across all operations
- Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts and WMS system oversight
- Collaborate with logistics team to coordinate transportation and distribution schedules
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Train new hires on warehouse procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- 2+ years warehouse experience with leadership exposure
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain during paid training)
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to complete during training
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying temperature conditions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic data analysis
