Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Supervise a team of warehouse staff, conducting performance reviews and providing training.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement procedures to reduce shrinkage and waste.
- Collaborate with management to improve operational workflows and efficiency.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and coordinate with maintenance staff for repairs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS) and Excel.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
