Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, and shipping operations
- Train, mentor, and evaluate performance of warehouse staff while fostering a positive team culture
- Implement lean principles to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize errors
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and company policies
- Utilize WMS software to manage inventory, track orders, and generate reports
- Collaborate with logistics team to optimize transportation schedules and dock utilization
- Conduct regular audits to maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse management experience in distribution or manufacturing
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot operational issues
- Excellent leadership abilities with proven team management track record
- Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
